Welcome to the Michigan Chapter of the National Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. We are, CVMAMI 35-1, an association comprised of veterans of all U.S. Armed Forces that enjoy riding motorcycles. Our mission is to help veterans. We are a motorcycle association. We do not claim territory. Full members are those with verified combat service. Support members are those that have verified military service (non-combat). MISSION:
It is the Mission of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle
Association of Michigan;
To heighten public awareness and seek a full accounting of; our Prisoners Of War
and Missing In Action as a result of our nation’s military operations throughout
the world.
To heighten awareness and educate the public to the effects of Agent Orange and
other chemical, biological / radiological weapons utilized by or tested on U.S.
Military personnel.
To promote physical and cultural improvement, growth and development,
self-respect, self confidence and usefulness of America’s veterans, active duty
personnel and their families.
To assist America’s disabled and needy veterans, their dependents, the widows,
and orphans of deceased veterans.
To raise awareness of the plight of those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
To raise awareness of the plight of our nation’s homeless veterans and assist
them whenever possible.
To participate in community education and service projects for the betterment of
our communities.
To participate in all things patriotic in nature.
To educate our veterans and active duty personnel of their right to seek
healthcare, educational and disability benefits through the Veterans
Administration and other state and federal agencies.
To promote camaraderie among combat veterans from all branches of service.
To promote the sport of motorcycle riding among our members and to educate the
public regarding safety on the roads with respect to motorcycle riders.
